Wedding Bells?

Maybe or maybe not.

The other night, just after we went to bed, Sam (albeit very sleepily) asked me if I preferred silver or gold. He didn’t elaborate when I asked him why. Just wanted to know. I don’t really know what it means exactly, but I know what I would like it to mean. Either way, I can be pretty positive that the question referred to jewelry. But as to what kind of jewelry…Let’s just say that remains to be seen. I’m trying really hard to a) not be too excited and b) not to get my hopes too far up.

More on that same (and yet completely different) vain:

We went out this past Sunday to David’s Bridal in Manchester and Carissa got her wedding dress! It is very cute, and incredibly flattering on her. Its very Marilyn Monroe with the halter top. But it suits her. We were hardly there for an hour and she had her dress picked out. And she couldn’t have done better: She had a 200$ budget. The dress? 89$!!! She didn’t even know the price until after she came out of the dressing room and said she felt like ‘This is the one!’ She almost fell on the floor when the sales associate told her the price.

She also shopped for her bouquet after we got her dress. She’s doing a brooch bouquet and making it herself. Found a ton of brooches in a craft shop near by.

Very excited for her wedding.

Either later this month or early next month, I’m going to do a trial run of her wedding cake. I’m a little nervous about it, but very much looking forward to it.

For anyone who is looking for an amazing movie to watch, I highly recommend "Trollhunter." It is free on instant Netflix. And it is a must see. Jess, Sam and I just watched it last night after an amazing round of ‘We <3 Katamari,’ and it was clearly an awesome decision. It is in Norwegian, so there are subtitles. And filmed like the "Blair Witch Project." Much better than "Blair Witch" though. I would go more into detail on what the movie is about, but I really think the title says it all.

That’s it for now!
