oooooeerrrr and wedding babble

glad to see i was missed!!!! that always makes my day. well i guess i’ll start by making sure everybody knows about the wedding since i’ve gotten about a bazillion questions about it. we are getting married on march 24, 2007. our wedding colors are red, black and silver. our theme is stars, we have star everything. it’s already turning out so cute and it’s still 5 and a half months away. we are thinking about going on a cruise for our honeymoon. my brother in law and sister will probably pay for half of it as our wedding present. that would be sooooo fun i think. my wedding dress is absolutely gorgeous. i wish i could post a picture of it but as of right now the website that has a picture of it isnt working. i can probably scan the picture i have from the magazine at work sometime when i get around to it. anyway i’ll just describe it the best i can right now. it is actually a prom dress, it is a basic like a-line type cut, all white except black and silver rhinestones on the bottom of the skirt in a swirly pattern and the same type pattern on everything from the waist up, it’s spaghetti strap (the straps also have the rhinestones on them) and trust me its gorgeous even though i probably didnt explain it very well. but i assure you there will be pictures posted if not before the wedding then after. hmmmm i’m going to have 3 bridesmaids, my cousins monica and sunshine and my sister theresa. and the dresses are these empire waist cut dresses, red, with red beadwork on the chest and straps, and cute little shawl type things. very adorable i say. the groomsmen are sunshines husband kelly and two of dereks really good friends josh and mike (josh has a mohawk he is dying bright red for the wedding…wooohooo) and dereks daughter, who is 3, is going to be our little flowergirl. and we decided that since my dad is walking me down the aisle that instead of having her throw flower pedals she is just going to have a little basket and she is going to walk derek down the aisle. i thought that would be too cute. and i think thats one of dereks favorite ideas we’ve come up with about the wedding so far. we are having it at this really cool restaurant with a gorgeous banquet room. there will be white lights everywhere, silver stars galore and black and red balloons and all that. but it’s going to be fabulous i will attempt to post some pictures of the bridesmaid dresses and all that soon too. oh oh and the guys tuxedos are going to be all black, like shirt/shoes/coat etc…you get the picture but the only bit of color on any of them are going to be their ties. dereks tie is going to be silver and the groomsmens ties are going to be red. that is going to look so awesome. hmmm thats really all i can think about it right now i hope i can get pictures of some things up soon. well thats all thats been going on exciting in my life recently. i got a raise and a bonus at work. i still work at the same place i did (i work in an office for a huge corporation) it’s sooo fun and i love the people i work with. i dont know if i ever said on here that i got a puppy and a bunny. my puppy is a pit bull/heeler mix. she is so sweet i love her so much. and our bunny is just a little brown fuzzy lop mix with big ears. i have pictures of them on the other computer so when i get around to it i will have to post those too. ummmmm we’re looking for a house to buy. we want to have one before we get married but its so hard to find decent things around here that dont cost a million dollars because our town is going through this huge boom right now and everything is RIDICULOUS!!! derek just bought me another diamond ring the other day. it is so cute, now i have 3 that he’s gotten me. i’m so spoiled!!!! and he just took me out to the best dinner. we have this killer sushi restaurant in town and it is SO GOOD!!!! it’s gotta be my new favorite. they have the best crab california rolls. mmmmmmmmm  well i dont have much else to say i’m trying to get better at posting these. i just gotta get back into the swing of things. well i hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!
