Awesome Day

It’s Friday, and it is absolutely beautiful.  There is not a cloud in the sky and it’s 70 something.  This is the kind of day that almost forces you to play hooky and go outside.  I mean, when your arm gets twisted like that, there’s not a lot you can do.

I took an early day today and went to the park.  I love going there for lunch on occasion to sit down with a good book or people watch.  Today, there were especially a lot of people out.  Several of them were dog owners playing with their pets.  I saw all kinds of dog toys for aggressive chewers, carriers and harnesses.  Some of these owners I’m sure pamper their pets at home. 

You also see all kinds of interesting people at the park.  To be sure, springtime means there is a bit less clothing on, except for a few.  Some dedicated soldiers will where their boots, coats and goth rings no matter how hot it gets.  No big whoop.  For me, I’m just happy to be able to open the windows and go outside again.  The only thing not happy are my allergies.  Sneezing and watery eyes are not fun.
