Great Weekend Trip

I spent last weekend in Texas with my college friends.  It was a great trip.  We ate, drank and slept sports.  With the Masters on, we got the itch and played 36 holes of golf.  We also played basketball, tennis and home run derby with softballs.  I had fun, but my body got really sore.

We stayed at my friend Wes’ house.  He is the only one out of us who has kids right now.  He’s got two little boys.  His wife was planning for a birthday party and trying to decide between Curious George Party Supplies, Barney party Supplies, or these.  I’m sure they’ll have a blast whatever they decide on. 

We also went to a Rangers game on Saturday, and walked right in.  We got there for BP and a door was open that we didn’t have to use our tickets.  I’ve never had that happen before.  Our Karma was good I guess because we got 9 balls in BP and the game, and I got one from my favorite player, Josh Hamilton.  The game sucked, but that was a lot of fun getting the balls.  Can’t wait to do the trip again next year.  Hated coming back to freezing cold Cincinnati.
