Fun Vacation

My wife and I got time away this weekend to Myrtle Beach.  It was definitely cooler than we would have liked, and we didn’t get any layout time, but it was still nice to get away.  We met up with my parents and brothers in these discounted time shares.  They were ok.  My dad tried to spin them like they were great, but they weren’t.  They met the needs though.

 My oldest brother had his kids with him, who were certainly a large part of the trip.  Much attention was on them, as it should be.  They brought with them their Curious George toys and their own pillows and blankets .  Funny how kids get so attached to a certain safety net.  I remember doing that.

We got to take them out to a pirate themed putt putt, which was a lot of fun.  The place had all kinds of decorations to make you feel like a buccaneer.  It was pretty fun and the holes were challenging.  The kids just kind of wandered around though.

We’re heading back home to work today, but we were happy to get away from the every day life.
