Ys = Beautiful!

I thought as I haven’t written in her forever that I better do so.

And then I thought what better to write about than my night on Saturday.

I saw Joanna Newsom for the 2nd time. but this time it was at the Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and was AMAZING!!!!!! I have loved this album (Ys) from the first listen but it get better and more personal with each listen. And it was so beautifully performed by the Orchestra and her it was incredible!

However she performed ‘Sawdust and Diamonds’ on her own and it was so awesome that I was crying.

She’s amazing. She’s brilliant on the harp and such a poet when it comes to lyrics!

I think everyone should hear her!!

Anyhow, It’s my birthday tomorrow. So I’m going to sit around the house today. and  maybe do some writing.
