Where does your orchestra play?
I turned and asked him
where does the music come from
everytime I lay eyes on you?

why does my head fill with such
emotional melodies?
(am I in a dream?)

Your wonder,
your fanfare
announce your arrival
to my rapid beating heart
trying to keep the tempo
of your amazing presence

then, when you leave
a lone chello bows its song
from the chamber of my chest
the notes lingering at the door of your depature
awaiting the return of your orchestra
