Heels up, head down, straight on through

What could have brought on this steady stream of seemingly good luck?  Is it karma?  Have I been behaving myself so well that suddenly things are going my way for a change?  Or perhaps its just one of those natural cyces of life, where you’re up and then you’re down.  I can’t say.  You’d be hard pressed to get me to say anything definate about the nature of a higher power, let alone whether or not they would pay me the time of day to make things go well.

Agnosticism at its utmost.

I made cheesecake last night.  Did you know I could make cheesecake?  Me neither!  It was pretty damn good too.  And people keep telling me so, which more than anything is gratifying.  For all the mistakes and grocery store trips I did something thta turned out pretty good, and people are enjoying it.  Yay people!

I also got offered the option to work a few days a week for the rest of the summer to help out with this filing project that they have going on here at W&W, so I’m not going to be in the red after the beach trip tomorrow, and that will rock.

In addition I got offered a week long house sitting job and Henry-haven’t mentioned him here have I?-is going to come and spend a little time with me.  Poison Ivy be barred.  This should get interesting very quickly.  Perhaps I will post the outcome of such an evening here… then again maybe I won’t >;-)

What else…?  Oh yeah!  Ken and his friend will be here next week!  So excited to see him again!  He’s a sweet guy, and this should be tons-o-fun!  We are going to go out!  Oh crap!  I have to go call my friend Ashley about ice cream today!

Time is speeding up…fall will be here before I can catch my breath! 😀
