Geek Squad…be still my beating heart!

I wasn’t sure at first…but I’m almost positive now.  I have a weakness for computer geeks!  Claire and I were at the Best Buy, she effed up her keyboard by spilling water onto it(it’s a laptop) and for the past week and a half or so she has been unable to use her computer at all due to a combination of funny noises and an inability to get past the log-in screen.

Well we adventured forth for a bottle of champaign and some pineapple-I found this hillarious/amazing fondu-for-two kit HAHA since she was my "Valentine" and we’re going to have our Valentine’s fun times today instead of last night because we were both insanely sick and busy.  Luckily we are much better.  But anyhow stop two was Best Buy to ask the lovely folk of Geek Squad if she could try out a keyboard and see if that would suffice to get her and her computer through the semester.

Needless to say…the guys working at Geek Squad are exactly that…computer savvy and just a bit nerdy, but we both got all giggly and such just chatting with them.  Something about a guy who knows his way around a computer just does it for me!  Not to mention they are useful to have around when computer problem arise…which much as I try to avoid them they do.

Claire speculates that the tall lanky/skiny ones in particular are the ones who are packing a little extra "hard drive" of their own if you catch my meaning haha.

On the note of fellows…things seem to be smoothing over with the boyfriend et moi…however I guess I won’t really know until we get the chance to actually have a conversation…and knowing his amazing timing…he’ll ring while I’m out or at class.  *sigh*  Oh well, at least he got a phone card for a change…that’s got to be a good sign, right?

*laughs* It’s actually hand size that’s the major visable sign. Big hands, well…

*laughs* Well, thanks for the return note. I appreciate it. *laughs again* And I guess both apply to me… Both the hand measure and the computer geek-ness. Always happy to reinforce a stereotype. đŸ˜› ~Jake-chan
