Going to Europe…

So I fly off to Ireland on the 22nd.   This summer has been too short and I’m desperately sad to see it end, but I’m about to begin somethign new and I can’t help but feel both terrified and enlivened by the possibilities that lie ahead of me.

I’ll miss everyone, especially those of you who’ve allowed me to usurp so much of your tiem this summer (and to Claire who flew out to see me, and might come visit me in Europe!)  ANd a special thanks to Sam and Jaime without whom that rockin’ last party would never have happened for me.  It was the best end to a beautiful summer.

I’ll try to update once or twice while abroad, but honestly the computer will be one of my last concerns, so until December 20th adieu!
