Next two weeks

My counterpart in Chennai that takes care of Chennai office would be on leave for next two weeks. I guess, his wife is not well and having some gyne problem so he is off to take care of her and visit doctor(s) with her, nice caring husband J.

So, I am taking care of that center as well from today onwards. Good exposure to handle multiple sites and interaction with the people sitting on the other part of the country.

Though an outsourced team is sitting there and managing the stuff too for me but still I am the SPOC (single point to contact) for the business and responsible for smooth business overall so a little nervous as it’s not an easy job to understand and handle every problem remotely.

I mean, I can access their servers remotely and troubleshoot too for any problems and can look at the performance by the given tools etc but still at times, you have to be physically present there to actually understand and manage the situation.

I hope I manage it fine, fingers crossed and hope to get the support from my boss too J.
