I see no picture on the front page…can I be a favorite? I mean, even if you don’t like me…that’s cool, but can I still read the “real entry”? Pretty please with a cherry on top?! oh, and sprinkles too. Okay, this is my humor… Have a beautiful day! Heather—->

Usually I’m all, “Oh great, who is THIS changing their name and confusing me and making me get used to an entirely different diary name, like, why can’t people just stay put and let ME be the one to change my diary name with every passing breeze,” but this time I was all, “Oh! Hi, Jonathan’s new diary name!” Cause, you know, it makes sense.

Very cool…

“You don’t really answer the question about whether bilingual eductation is good for the children or for America — you just say what policy you’re in favor of. That’s a seperate question from what you think they should do.” I don’t know. It depends on the individual. Some feel the need to be part of a local Hispanic community. Some don’t.

Some feel the need to communicate with the gringos. Some don’t. I respect both cosmopolitanism and regional culture. “Isn’t it *more* costly to get an inmate through death row, with all the appeals?” That’s what I hear. From anti-death penalty sources, at least. I don’t have enough interest in the subject to look deeper into it.

“Are you in favor of vouchers after all? Suppose there’s a voucher plan in the legislature (like there is in Texas now). Do you want your congressman to vote for it?” I don’t know.

“I know you’re rather tongue-in-cheek here, but dogs should n’t be ablle to enter contracts, right? Presumably, the same will go for children.” Tell me, what would be the harm?

I’ve got favorites only because the cyberstalker who has been harassing me for five years is now harassing my fiancee.

I like the sound of Jack Point way better than Deadeye.

ryn: Fair enough, but what’s the harm in letting children write up a marriage contract?

ryn: There are no laws that govern who can be boyfriend/girlfriend, are there? That’s a relationship that is handled strictly on the individual level, and there doesn’t seem to be a problem with it.

Personally, I like “C. Bunthorne”…sounds particularly lawyerly. -s.
