new things.

Well we have rented out our spare room now.  It will be great to have the added income.  We’re still paying last months bills.  I get paid tomorrow and that money will go towards paying my car payment for last month, paying the car insurance for last month, paying to Alaric’s car for last month and Paying part of our last apartment’s final bill.  Meaning that even with my paycheck and the rent for our spare room for this month, We wont be able to pay them all and we will need to pay for this month.  Alaric is going to invoice some of his computer clients and we’ll get that money on friday and that will help some too.  With my paycheck and the rent payment for this month will cover my car payment, the car insurance and the apartment payment with a start on Alaric’s car payment.  Normally I would say to pay Alaric’s car first but my mom needs the money in her account that would cover my payment and since my car is in her name I don’t want to screw things up.

So Wednesday our renter moves in.  He is 25 and is from the area.  He has a chocolate lab that will hopefully be a good thing for Oscar to have around.  He needs a new buddy to play with so that he gets some of his energy out of his system before we get home since half the time we’re too dead to do much of anything and when I let him in it’s OSCAR TIME and I hate feeling like I’m cheating him when I just want to rest for a little before I have to figure out dinner and he just wants to run around and play hard.  The lab grew up with mini oscars so he knows how to play nice but we’ll see what happens.  Oscar hasn’t met a lot of other dogs.  He hears the neighbors’ dogs and has learned to bark like them which ticks me off.  He needs to ge tout more and to meet more people and more dogs.

I also wish that I could actually have a weekend to myself.  A weekend to relax and rest.  A weekend where I’m not working on getting the house set up and ready for the next week.  I want to be able to sleep my weekend away 😛  Both Alaric and I want a weekend where we can get away with doing nothing.  I hope that we get to a point where we can actually do that.
