wedding plans and life

It has been awhile.  I have not been in a big writting mood lately and I have been getting my fill of computers while at work so I don’t really care to do anything at home.  I will try to write more often but we know how that works out, I wont post for a nother month 😛

Alaric and I have been looking for homes lately.  We have to work on our credit before we can do anything.  We would have put in an offer by now but last week the banks all changed their loans because of all the crap people that don’t pay on their loans, we can’t get a house until we get some more points on our scores.

Work has been ok.  A little slow but I really like the place and I get along with the girls and the majority of all the guys.  There might be a couple people that don’t really want me but it is only because I am not as experienced as they would like.  They are hiring for the job that I am doing.  I applied but they need someone that can do accounting since the department needs a lot of help but they don’t have enough work to really qualify for a new person in the department.  I could do whatever they need done, I just don’t have the experience.  I’m starting to hate that word.  I can do the job I just need to be taught what to do.  No one wants to teach people anymore.

So aside from all of that I have found the dress that I want for my wedding, I just need to find the money to get it before it is too late to order it. 

I want that dress with the Glass Green trim color.  The green is the same color as my bridesmaid dresses.

   So I at least have that much figured out.

We are going to have the wedding in the backyard at my parents’ house.  My mom is making all kinds of plans for the back yard.  The neighbor is planting flowers for the wedding (flower nursery worker).  My mom is trying to come up with center pieces that tie in all the elements that I want for the wedding (blue/green and California meets Alaska)  Fun huh 😛  So really the wedding with be blue, green, for-get-me-nots (which don’t grow how you want them to so our neighbor is growing some other plants for us that look enough like them) and green grapes :P.

One of my friends from high school said that her mom and sister would make my cake for me.  They have done it for other people and all I have to do is buy the cake ingredients and that is it.  I am going to have three squares with a small round on top for my cake.  The round will be for the 1st year ann.

So that is it.  The cat is now sleeping on one arm and some how my comp got unplugged and i am almost out of battery life.

EDIT* 

So today Alaric and I are going to look at some more homes which will hopefully be a good thing instead of finding something we want and then missing out since we are still waiting on a company to take stuff off of Alaric’s credit report.

I was going over the budget for the month and it caused Alaric and I to get ticked at each other.  I told him that we had to wait to get his car fixed.  He had wanted to get his Stealth fixed this month with his tax return but we need all of it to be able to pay off the two gas cards and to put $500 on the big credit card and $200 on the smaller one.  The two cards are in my name but they have been used on items for us.  Alaric didn’t really like that idea since we need to work more on his credit and not mine so the cards didn’t need as much paid on them as what I want to do.  To me the debt on those cards should be taken care of first to help us out instead of going towards the Stealth this month.  I told him that we could pay the money to work on his car next month and he said that I wont let him. 

ARGGGGG! 

I know he wants to get his car fixed.  I understand that and I don’t have a problem with it, I just want to wait a little longer so that we are not as badly in debt as we are right now.  If we get more paid on the credit cards then we have more emergency money so that if more work is needed on his car than what we have in cash, we could pay it then with the card.  We also want to get the smaller card paid off so that I can get out of Wells Fargo and away from all the stupid fines that they charge when they want to.

So yes, that is the start of today.  Hopefully things will go better.  I love Alaric and I want to be able to let him do what he wants with his car, we just can’t really afford to do the car work right now.  I know it will be another month to get his car fixed but in the end I believe that things will be better by getting our debt down now instead of later.
