things as they are right now

Well not much on the schedule for today, did two of the three things that I had thought about doing today, that’s something right 😛  I went to class which is easy, I may ask on my way out if anyone wants to go for me but I really like my classes and they really are interesting to me and I like what I am learning so I’m not missing the classes unless I really need to or am just really not feeling up to it so no worries on that front.  I should have stopped by the library and gotten a book for my Soc. class(Global race and ethnic relationships) but I have time to do that and I think that is on my list for stuff to do tomorrow since I want tomorrow to be my busy day in which I will go to my two classes, turn in my graded papers that I have to do today since I finally got them from Pinard this afternoon, I’ll stop by the career center again and then go to the library and find a book on relationship problems on either ethnic or global scale such as what is going on right now with Iraq, Iran, what happened in Spain, Japan, Korea, Africa, China, and the list goes on and on and on. 

Today I am going to read now for the rest of the day, or a good portion of the rest of the day, I need to get reading finished for both Soc and for my Abnormal Psychology class that I have, I have midterms in them both next week and I believe that I also have a normal spanish test which I will also have to study for but really those tests aren’t hard and the reading for Soc is easy and the Psych isn’t bad, it’s just really dry and that wears on a person after awhile.  So anyways, my goal is to get my spanish done which is really just a few more lines for the half page that I have to turn in on some director and then do all the reading for Soc since that is like not even 50 pages of the reading book and then 2 case studies, one of which we already went over so I wont have much in problems while going over it.

I checked my finaid account and all my money has been sent my way so I will get that all by the end of this month of else my parents will bring it down with them when they are in San Francisco for my brother’s 40th birthday.  That’s going to be interesting but fun and maybe I can get them to see that I can survive down here and that I really do want to stay here for a few more years and finish up my schooling because I don’t want to think about having to be away from my boyfriend for that long and he can’t go to school in Alaska because they don’t have what he needs there and really I like it here, it’s a change that I need in my life right now and I have made some real good friends and I’m having fun here.  I ran into Abby twice today and we’re going to get together sometime and hangout since we are the only two NSE students that are living in C.V.  She was really cool when I met her the first time the thursday before school started last year and we shared a bathroom when we were both in North Mountain, it’s nice to have one of them to do something with, Karianne is the one that I have talked to the most and that is because we both are on the planning party that comes up with ideas, our other member ended up going home for good during break, girl stuff 😛 (it was a male).

This coming weekend is going to be killer, not only am I going to have my boyfriend here for the first time but he gets to meet my room mates and they get to meet him which they all want to do, Robyn really wants to meet him, her boyfriend Paul has ideas for what my boyfriend can do for me, dinner-wise for the weekend before vday.  On that note, my sweetie got me this funky v-day snake that is funny and cute, Christina loved it so I think that I’m going to get her one.  I need to do laundry and a little picking up before next weekend and I should clean the Newt tank before then too since I changed it last week and I need to really do it every week or every other week.

Robyn and I are making mock Thanksgiving for dinner tonight, turkey, mashed taters, green beans, stuffing, and Paul is bringing wine, not that I like the stuff but whatever, I have my rum and coke which can be a little strong when you have 4-5 shots of rum in with one can of coke, I think that I over did the rum but oh well still good, going to not go over 3 from now on though 😛  I am going to go make some rolls or buy some for dinner since we need those and who knows, maybe some sparkling cider just for whatever 😛

Dude, you know what I want to get later on, like this summer, next year, just because it is healthy and quick, I want to get one of those Magic Bullet things, I was watching the infomercial for it this morning and it would be something nice/conveniant to have around and really healthy. but I don’t want it right now since I have enough crap in my apartment as it is.  Oh and on that note apartment hunting is interesting and not all that bad, school hunting can bite but isn’t as bad as it could be but not much fun.

Well I need to go, I have to do that reading and I really want carrot sticks and ranch, we don’t have any ranch so I might need to run to the store or at least down to C.V.’s little store and grab some from there.
