thanksgiving weekend

I hope that everyone had a good thanksgiving.  I had a great weekend and am just waiting for my mother to yell at me when she finds out what I did.  Ok so she wont actually yell at me but still, she’ll say something but I couldn’t help it I was suffering from withdrawls.  I drove down to Moreno Valley(L.A.) early on wednesday morning and got there at 10:30, entertained myself until 5:30 or 6 pm since my friend Christiana went back to bed since she was suffering the flu and her dad went outside to work on the shed he was building.  Katrina got home about 5:30-6 and then she and I went out with her boyfriend, his best friend, and met up with his family who paid for all of us to go to Midievil times for dinner to celebrate Katrina’s boyfriend(Daniel)’s belated birthday.  It was good, they have updated it since the last time that I went(7th grade, now a 3rd year in college, no break).  Our knight ended up dying after his second battle to the death(killing the first guy) but before the battles all the knights got a “scarf” tied to their lance and gave it to a girl in their section, well I got it for ours 😛  I had to fight Daniel off since he kept trying to steal it from me 😛

The next day I had thanksgiving with Christiana, her dad and some of her family that lives down there.  It was pretty nice, everyone was really great, got along great with the two sons(9 and 15?) The older son and I kept stealing the olive bowl from each other since I told him that he would have competition this year for the olives since no one else really cared either way about them:P  After dinner I watched ‘Yana, Adam and Zach play GameCube since I don’t play and because I had more fun making fun of them dying than watching myself get killed in the heat of the battle.  It was funny watching them but not enough to stop me from taking a quick nap which is really weird since I’m not usually able to take a nap but I was really tired and I had been watching them play for like 5 hours 😛

Friday I helped ‘Yana work on the shed with her father and uncle and then I packed up my stuff and I headed for the road.  I had a good time there and all but I was having withdrawls and just rather bored there since they weren’t doing a whole lot and just not doing anything very active.

I drove to Napa.

Yeah, I know, I know but I was missing my sweetie and I knew that I would have more fun there than I would with my friends(and no, not that kind of fun, sheesh dirty minded people…you’re just like me :D) I got there and called him when I was just a few seconds away from his house, I told him to go outside so that I didn’t have to deal with anyone else bothering the conversation, he had to question me and then ask if I was there (brat, just follow the script :P) and he opened the door as soon as I pulled up, can’t say that he doesn’t like surprises anymore (good thing he still doesn’t know what the other one is yet ) 😉  after saying hello and all that his mother comes running out yelling that I’m there and comes and gives me a hug 😛  that kinda surprised me.  Had a good night and I was very happy that I had gone there instead of staying in L.A. or coming back to school.

Went and had lunch/dinner with his grandparents on saturday, not bad, I wanted to meet them and let them know who was taking their grandson away on christmas, hopefully they didn’t dislike me.  I learned to play rummy, gin gummy, and spades, I was winning until the boyfriend’s mother won and decided that we were playing for real then 😛  It was fun and we all had a good time.  Drove back to their house and then watched some movies, I ended up taking a quick nap again while he was playing a game on the computer, woke up, denied that I was tired 😉 and then after a bit everyone went to bed.

Had breakfast/bruch with a couple of his friends who seemed really nice and very friendly, I’ll have a good time hanging out with them in the future and I want to steal the little dog that was at their parents’ house.  Went back home and were going to clean the room but, well, guys suck at organizing and putting stuff away at times so we left to go to walmart and bought some storage containers and other stuff so that we could start getting stuff out of the way and grouped together like it all needed to be.

I left around 4:30 sunday night and got back to school before 9.  I unpacked all my crap and then packed all my christmas presents into my large suitcase so that I have one less thing to do once I am finished with finals on the 10th.  I’m just starting dead week and boy is it going to be dead week.  I don’t plan on being on too much this week since I have a shitload of work I need to get done, actually I should be working on my Sociology Family tree right now but I didn’t really want to, I;ll get it done and turn it in this week even though I think that it is due today, I don’t have the time nor do I want to put in the effort since it isn’t going to be perfect since I don’t know all my relatives that I would need to have a real tree but oh well I’ll just do the people that I know of and see what happens with that, he shouldn’t really care though, as long as we get it done and turned in he should be fine with it all.

Ok, I have to go now, I am going to at leat try to make the family tree and see if that is all that I need or if I need a paper too.  Laters.
