Collective Updates

Didnt realised that it has been so many months since I last wrote something here.. (this line sounds familiar, did I use it for my past few entries too?)

Couple of things have happened since my last entry. Wont be going into the details since the details are not so vivid now. Maybe I will when I recollect my memories later.

I’m no longer working with the last company. Am now taking a break while slowly looking for a new job. Now really in a rush, expecially since the job market is still not that positive. But I think it is slowly picking up. Started to see more job postings online. Anyway, I have been using the past few weeks to catch up on my studies and assignment. Oh, I’ve started on a graduate diploma in May. A one year program in Human Capital Management. Thought about taking a second degree but think no point. Well, had just submitted my group assignments last week. Will spend the next 2 weeks working on my individual assignment as well as preparing for exams, which will be held in mid Aug.

Will be going to Genting with J one day after my exam. To relax and enjoy ourselves. Some people dont like to go Genting because they think there is nothing to do there except for the casino. For me, I quite like going. I’m not a gambler but I think the some of the jackpot machines are quite fun. I think we will be going to the theme park again and of course, have the buffet dinner in Genting Hotel. Since we will be going during the off-peak season, maybe I should bring a book along and spend some time in a coffee outlet… Also read about the mushroom farm located near the hotels and we may visit it and makan there as well..

Yawn. Poki and Tuffy are lying on the floor now. Makes me feel like sleeping too. Both of them are getting manja lately. Poki will come lie next to me when she is tired and Tuffy has recently become a lapdog – he always drops himself onto my lap. I’m not sure whether it has something to do with the increased number of hours I spend at home since I’m jobless. Hey, what’s the corelation anyway?

J and I have been watching "Breaking the Magician’s Code" on scv lately and needless to say, we are amazed by how simple some of the tricks can be. Basically it’s making use of props but of course, the magician will have to put on an convincing act for the audience to believe. Definitely an entertaining show.

Oh we visited the Science Centre yesterday. Went there to view the Da Vinci exhibition. The visit took longer than I expected and there was quite a crowd in certain areas. Quite enriching. Saw some not-so-graceful visitors who touched this and that although there were signs of "No Touching". Sigh, Singaporeans. 

Wow, it’s almost 1 pm. Sometimes time flies when you are not doing anything.
