Updates

Wow. I have been away for so long that OD is now into version 6??!!

Anyway, I’m just logging in to make sure that my account is still active and not deleted. And of course, for some brief updates.

Work is definitely very very busy for me nowadays. There is a new HOD in office now and so everybody is working their heads off. Staying late, more tasks, more work. ARGH. Sometimes I wonder if the economy is really going downward. How come I have more and more work to do? On the one hand, I work like a log. On the other, I have to comfort myself that I should be glad that I still have a job and my company is still doing reasonably well.

The new boss has new expectations. Needless to say, she has threw some proposal to me and I ended up being the one who has to collate the statistics and drafted the reports and proposals. After which she showed her boss and then I have to be the one again who do all the amendments. 

Sigh. 

I think I am overworked. So overworked that I’m suddenly beginning to think of vacations. Ah, wouldnt it be nice to be away from work, from Singapore and to just relax in another country? So coincidental that the newspapers are filled with travel advertisements lately. Our next vacation trip overseas is target to be…….. USA East Coast. We’ve talked about it before. But then again, it still boils down to money and budgeting. Have to admit that it wont be cheap and we have to save up before we go and at the moment, I dont think it doesnt look as if we are going there this year. Plus the fact that I may be taking up a course this May… more money issues.  

Oh maybe I should explain why I am free to type this entry today. Hehe. I am on mc today. But the fact is, I’m not really sick, just very tired from all the work and OT-ing. Lack of rest, lack of proper sleep. Well, I guess it’s still considered ‘sick’ in a way.
