Mouldy Aircon Vent
I have this persistant cough and runny/blked nose since 1 or 2 months back. I think it started with a cough in June. I’ve seen the doc many times but still it doesnt get cured. The last time I consulted a doc, he said my nose was probably due to some allergic. He deduced it cld be due to my new office (we shifted from level 2 to level 3 in March).
I went to a chinese sinseh few weeks ago and he said I hv a sensitive nose. Pretty funny coz I dun ever remember having a sensitive nose for my 20 over years in life.
Last week, there was a research assistant who came to find me in the office one day. He was asking if they cld disposed of a lab bench which was invaded by moulds. The bench was in a horrible state and it seems that it wld hv to be disposed of. Their boss said he had this assistant who recently came in but kept falling sick as he was allergic to moulds and fungi. Then I remembered there were some complains previously abt moulds growing on the aircon vents in our building.
Somehow, it kind of made me wonder if I am having all these health problems due to moulds. And so it happened there is an aircon vent directly above my head. I took a look and saw some spots on the vent. Started to suspect they are moulds and that they are the main culprit behind all my recent health problems. So I called our estate office yesterday and logged the case. Now to wait for them to come and clean up. But I doubt it wld be completely cleaned. I think the moulds will grow again someday somehow.
Ok, another reason for me to get out of this job.
Oh it’s Friday and tomorrow’s the weekend!! Yuppie! I think J will be most gladful too as he had a very busy week. Poor him. He went for dinner with his customer last evening and then sent the customer back to his hotel in the city. J then wanted to took a cab home at 9pm but there was no cab. He tried to call for one but either he cldnt get through the line or there was no cab who took up the booking. He ended up waiting for 1.5 hrs for a cab in the taxi queue while trying to call with success again and again. Ridiculous.
We’ll be bringing Poki for her 3rd jab this Sunday. After that she will be able to go for her walks. Looking so forward to it.
Friday, 1621 hrs.
