And it continues…

<—- part 1 of the dating craze thattaway…

So…it continues- after my fabulous weekend where I thought things couldn’t get any better…they did.
 
Last night after work I went to go meet “Texas Boy” for drinks. He was taller and cuter in person then what I expected. Nice guy, southern charm, good job, athletic (played bball in college). We had a good time- stayed for a few beers (note to self- start eating before these drink dates because on an empty stomatch, 3 beers gets me buzzed! Lol). I couldn’t QUITE get a read on him and whether he was interested in me or not. But I was interested and would def go out with him again. He’s going out of town tomorrow, but he said he’d call me when he gets back.
 
Today I had a lunch date with “Basketball Coach”. I Reeeaaaally liked this guy. Didn’t seem to be “my type” at first through email, but I’m so glad I gave him a chance! He’s super cute in person, good build, is a teacher (awe) and basketball coach (awe) getting his masters (awesome!), plays basketball and poker, super sweet and gentlemanly, flirty for sure. The ONLY downer to this guy is that he’s from Daytona, been here for 5 years, and really misses Florida. Misses being by the beach. Can’t say that I blame him, but….do I really want to start something with someone who wants to move? Oy vey…I don’t know! But for now (don’t worry Krebiz!) I’m not tryin to think of all that. Anyhoo- we had a great lunch date, hug goodbye, and he said he’ll call me later. We’ll see. I hope he does!
 
Tonight- I have a drink date with….you’ll never gues….duh duh na na….Joe. Yes, call me an idiot and I don’t even know if I know what I’m doing or why I’m doing it..but I am meeting up with Joe (ex of a YEAR ago where things just sort of “ended” and then he stood me up for a drink date a few months later). But I am. He texted me this morning, so it’s official- and I’m meeting him tonight after work. Maybe it’s dumb- but I have to do it. I’m curious, it’s been a year, I’m in a good place, and I’m over him which means I’m not going into it emotionally- so I think I’m ready. Should be interesting- my goal is to stay “breezy” and try not be the first to bring things up- but we’ll have to see where the night takes us. Luckily I can’t be out too long cause I have a soccer game at 9….I will have a full report tomorrow!
