God Bless America!

Had a great 4th of July weekend! Definitely wasn’t relaxing by any means, but it was a blast!

 

Thursday night me, Beth, Katy & Jessi went to Nuevo Laredo (this amazing Mexican restaurant by my house) for some margaritas and food…then after getting a little tipsy decided to head to Twisted Taco for a little bit. Ran into Brian the manager (who we all know from the gym) who then proceeded to pay for our shots and drinks for the rest of the night. Good stuff. We were “good” and like planned we left the bar at 10 to ensure we were in bed at a decent hour.

 

Friday morning we woke up around 8, drank some mimosas and headed to Lake Hartwell (about an hour and 45 mins away…and one of the nicest lakes in my opinion and never too crowded at all). People slowly trickled in at different times until eventually there were 18 people there!!! Thank God Shannon’s parents’ lake house is like a real house and had plenty of room to hold us all!  Then the party began….a weekend filled with:

 

Flip cup tournaments

fireworks

Laying out

Tubing

Wake boarding

Jet skiing

Boating (they have a pontoon and a speed boat)

Jumping off railings into the water

Drinking like fish

Etc.

 

We had a freakin BLAST! My body is soooo sore after all of the “activity”, but it was well worth it! Not to mention, my tan is lookin pretty good nowJ

 

Now back to the real world…sad…
