I emailed my advisor exactly two weeks ago today. She never got back to me. My attempts to call her at the time were unfruitful due to the fact that there’s a 10 message limit on the voicemail boxes of all the faculty at school. I start to email her again today, but on a whim, call her instead. I immediately get through to her voicemail, AND she calls me back not even two minutes later…. only to tell me she’s booked through to July 7th.

I’m just so pissed that she didn’t get back to my original email. There’s absolutely no reason that I shouldn’t have been able to meet with her this week, being as I’m certain that I was one of the first people to attempt to contact her. Now I’m worried that I’ll have a really shitty placement for my internship, and while she’s sitting there thinking it’s all my fault because I should’ve gotten in touch with her sooner, I know it’s HER fault because she completely ignored my email. doubleyou.tee.eff. man.
