Okay, ew. My nails do not look that bad. Honestly, I only bite them enough to keep them a little trimmed. It is rare that I bite one all the way down to the nailbed. That’s just… ew.

7. The town you live in

so the first couple pics were actually maps pointing exactly to it, which I didn’t really feel comfortable posting (despite the fact that I’ve never really hidden where I live). But anyway, the first pic is the Old Railroad station on 4th Street (about 2 blocks north and one block west of my house :-)). The station, as far as I know, is no longer in operation. The second pic is the bridge that’s up the street from my old house, and not that far from where I live now–really only a stone’s throw from the church in the third pic. That church is literally right down the road from me, at the intersection of 3rd, Schoolhouse, and (who woulda guessed it) Church Rds. (yea, it’s a weird intersection. Yay smalltown.)

8. Name of your pet

Punkin! No, that’s not my dog, but my dog’s name is Punkin. We didn’t spell it wrong, we spelled it that way on purpose. There appear to be a lot of people online who’ve spelled it wrong though.

Kali. Apparently she’s a Hindi Goddess. Don’t tell her that, she’ll get a complex.

apparently the guy on the right in the first pic has the same last name as me. So does that bald white guy, and that elderly black woman. The craziest thing is that because of what I’ve been told about the origins of my last name, I’m probably somehow related to all of them in some form or another. Crazier still is how much that woman looks like my late grandmother, despite the fact that their closest relation to each other, provided there in fact is one, would have been by marriage.
