productive procrastination

I believe I have perfected the art of procrastinating while still appearing to be productive. The key is, to do something else that needs to be done, in order to put off something else that you don’t really want to do.

Case in point: I have to write the rough draft of a spanish composition, due Monday. *Boo* spanish hates me this semester 🙁 It’s very sad. Tragic even.

Obviously I don’t want to do my spanish composition. So instead, I studied for my econ quiz (Thurs), did half my stats hw (due wed), read for L.A. studies (for tuesday), and also figured out what requirements I needed for my major, and also researched possible minor options. As an end result, I’ll still have to do my spanish comp at some point tomorrow, so that I can turn it in (ON TIME!!) on monday, but my rest of the work for the week is also pretty much finished, so I’ll have more time to relax throughout the week 🙂

Not only that, but now I can start planning out what classes I will need to take before I graduate, and figure out how many summer classes I’ll have to take if I want to graduate on time. Which, I figured out, is going to be pretty hard, but not entirely impossible. I also figured out that getting a minor in “Entrepreneurship & Management” would be incredibly easy to do, because a lot of the required courses overlap in the Econ department. I still have to do some additional mapping out to see if the Spanish minor will be as feasible. (Ha! Spanish is kicking my ass, but yet I want to minor in it. Ironic? Perhaps.)

Anyways, I guess that’s all for now. Hasta otra vez 😛

procrastination truly is an art form lol

Ich verstehe nicht, was Sie nur gesagt haben (I don’t understand what you just said) I doubt I’d do any good if I tried minoring in German. Congratulations, you have now accended to the Procrastination rank of green belt. 😛 Robert
