How is it possible that with less classes, and less time actually spent *in* class, I have more work than ever??

My one class is just about entirely consistent of outside work. It only meets once a week, so a large part of the grade is made up of research, reading, watching movies, attending special events, and of course, writing mini-essays on each of them. Fun. Actually, it’s really a very interesting class… I just feel like the work will never get done! Which really, it won’t. No sooner do I finish this week’s work, then I have work for next week!

Spanish is going to kill me. We have this story we have to read and answer questions about. The questions are like analysis questions, that you’d expect to answer about any kind of literary piece (like what is the main theme of the story)… which would be okay.. if i actually understood any of it at all. So far I have a vague idea that there’s three characters in the story, but I can’t be sure, because i think that the one character is actually this other character in disguise… and/or one character is dead and/or a ghost and/or a figment of the main character’s imagaination… gaaahh… Oh the best part is that there’s footnotes on words that they think you might not understand… but the footnotes are in SPANISH!!!!

Anyway…. the point was, I live at the library now. Because I realized that when I stay in my room, I more often tend to watch tv, or sleep, or just come *here* (here being online in general) and not get any work done. So I force myself to go to the library pretty much on a daily basis. I am proud of myself, and feel productive. Go me. So now to the library I go.
