are people really that stupid? *minirant*

I’ve been watching an obscene amount of people’s court today. In this one case, there was a woman who’d met a man while he was in jail. She’d loaned him a lot of money, as well as furniture, all of which she wanted back, but he wouldn’t give to her, so she was suing for that. The judge ended up dismissing the case because the woman couldn’t prove that it was a loan, versus actually giving the items to the guy for him to keep. Right after the ruling, the cameras always meet up with the people involved outside of the courtroom to get their final reaction. This woman–I couldn’t believe it–she said “This is the most dishonest man I’ve ever met in my entire life.” I couldn’t help it, I screamed at the TV, “YOU MET HIM IN JAIL!!!!!” Honestly! What did she expect him to be, a saint? I mean, I believe that people can change, but the sad fact of the matter is that they usually don’t, and even if they do, they should need to work DAMN hard to earn anybody’s trust.

Are people really that stupid and naïve? Jeebus…

Okay, that’s all for now.
