blah blah blah carry on
Did you ever want to update, just because you’re sick of seeing your old entry at the top of the entry list, but you don’t actually have anything to say? Yea that’s kind of what this is.
I’m craving mandarin oranges. I don’t know why. I bought some yesterday so as to satisfy my craving. Yum. Now I’m eating them. Yummer. The only thing is, they’re packed in “light syrup.” I always wondered, is the syrup really necessary? Most fruit is sweet enough by itself, it doesn’t need a syrup to add to it, right? All the syrup does is add unecessary sugars and calories. And really, when you think about it, it homogenizes all the fruits. Think about it. How much different do “mandarin oranges in light syrup” taste with comparison to “pears in light syrup.” It doesn’t taste much different, because what you’re tasting is, in actuality, the syrup itself.
In my late night television endeavors, I’ve taken to watching South Park. At first glance, it is a stupid, mindless, trashy show full of foul language and “toilet humor.” Which, it is. But a closer look shows it to be a satire of just about everything in our modern world, from violence on tv, to intolerance and racism, to childhood obesity, to euthanasia, and even to the very usage of the foul words that are abundant in each show.
There’s a blood drive at the library today. I hope they’re accepting walk-ins because I didn’t make an appointment. I also hope my hemocrits aren’t too low today. The last three times I attempted to donate blood, I couldn’t because my hemocrit levels were too low. My doctor told me I’m slightly anaemic, and that I should take iron pills. Which I know. But iron pills make me sick to my stomach. Like actually physically ill. It’s bad. But anyway, this would be my last real opportunity to donate blood for awhile, because I’m getting something pierced next week, and you can’t donate for at least a year after getting a piercing. Gold star to whoever can guess what I’m getting pierced 😛
Okays, I guess that’s all for now. And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
