eh
it appears that i spoke too soon when a few weeks ago i said that “life is good”… don’t get me wrong… life is still for the most part OK… spring is in the air (though it appears to be on a downward trend :-/) i *still* have a great boyfriend… but recently, for some reason, life’s just been… blah ……….at the moment nothing terribly exciting is happening… and i think i’m becoming too comfortable with the way things are–things are blah, but i’m mostly OK with that– whats going to happen when things start to change? (as we know they must) as soon as AP tests are over, (which for me, they will be as of one week and two days) the rest of my school year (which incidentally, is only one month *gasp) is geared toward graduation, after which i have a hectic summer to look forward too, trying to cram in last minute plans with everyone before we all leave in august (except JM, who is commuting, and alex and ryan who still have high school… side note, just noticed that our little clique is all senior girls and underclass boys… weirdness) at any rate… can i deal with this much change all at once? i remember just the transition from middle school to high school was rocky– i remember telling my mom at the end of my 8th grade year that i’d rather go back to elementary school… why? you ask… because elementary school was familiar; it was something that i had already succeeded at, and knew that i could do without even having to try (god, if i had actually *tried* i might have ended up in the gifted program a helluva lot earlier)…. but *now* there’s an even bigger transition to go through… not only am i changing schools, but i’m leaving friends, family, home… anyway, this is a subject thats already been well established in several of my diary entries, and it wasn’t what i intended to write about when i came here… anyway, i’m about to contradict my statement that life is bein blah in the next statement, but whatever…. … … … …. … … …
life, oh yes… as i so acutely stated when ryan asked me yesterday “so, how’s life”… “life, hrumph… don’t talk to me about life”… life just isn’t fair… just when you think that everythings going great, something really crappy happens… to use a baseball metaphor, you’re tied in the bottom of the 9th, but all your bases are loaded, and your home-run hitter is up to bat, so you think you’re doin’ OK… then all of a sudden, you’re thrown a curveball …. literally speaking, my parents are in the middle of a bankruptcy suit, which has been going OK so far… but the credit card company for some reason, wasn’t aware of it and they put a $10,000 lein on all my moms bank accounts including my account and my sister’s accounts because they both have my mom’s name on them, so none of us have any money at all … on the bright side, my mom says that they shouldn’t be taking out any more moneys b/c she got it partially straightened out, but we have to wait to get the rest of our money back. anyway…(insert very long pause here) i know you couldn’t tell, but in the midst of writing this, i had a very interesting conversation with JM about money, that all started when she asked me for the $4.50 i owe her for ms ryan’s flowers… view…
horsehugger1: and u owe me $4.50 😉
rahrah 24seven: i know… i gotta find where i put my fiver
rahrah 24seven: can’t recall at the moment
horsehugger1: how sad
rahrah 24seven: indeed … i think it might have gotten lost on my bed… or maybe i put it in my change cup… or on my dresser *ponders*
horsehugger1: lol…i put my money in my wallet or on my desk 😉
rahrah 24seven: lol… i typically put it in my jeans pockets, but i had to wash my jeans, and i was wearing sweatpants (w/o pockets) when i removed it from my other jeans… i vaguely recall settin the moneys on my bed, but not if i relocated it
horsehugger1: sounds like u need more pants
horsehugger1: w/ pockets, preferably
rahrah 24seven: lol…i have *one* pair of pants w/o pockets
horsehugger1: lol
rahrah 24seven: the rest all have pockets
horsehugger1: that’s good
horsehugger1: i have no pants w/o pockets
rahrah 24seven: but i wear my non-pocketed pants when i’m doing the laundry
horsehugger1: the more pockets, the better
rahrah 24seven: lol
horsehugger1: eew, u do the laundry? wierd 😛
rahrah 24seven: loser… does your mom do the laundry?
horsehugger1: unless i actually *want* to do it, yes
horsehugger1: sometimes i throw in a couple of loads
rahrah 24seven: lol
horsehugger1: but i take care of the horses…that’s *more* than fair
rahrah 24seven: very true
horsehugger1: she washes the dishes too 😀
horsehugger1: well, the pots and pans
rahrah 24seven: ewww
rahrah 24seven: double loser
horsehugger1: ‘cuz of the whole dishwasher thing 🙂
horsehugger1: but i have to empty the dishwasher
horsehugger1: but she does the cleaning
rahrah 24seven: we put *all* the dishes in the dishwasher
rahrah 24seven: cleaning is rarely necessary
horsehugger1: my mom washes the pots and pans
horsehugger1: i think my mom *likes* to clean :-
rahrah 24seven: eww weirdness
horsehugger1: but i do the yard work ‘cept gardening
horsehugger1: i have a lot more crap to do, but ‘s ok b/c i guess she has to run the house or somesuch
horsehugger1: and she’s getting more lenient nows 😀
horsehugger1: so as long as i get whatever it is done w/in the week, it’s all good 🙂
rahrah 24seven: *rolls eyes*
rahrah 24seven: well we don’t really have any yard to do work in… so housework is what we do lots of the time
rahrah 24seven: only yard work is mowing, and daddy does that
horsehugger1: i mow…takes me 3 hours on a riding mower :-/
horsehugger1: but i get paid 🙂
rahrah 24seven: loser… allowance… *hrumph*
horsehugger1: but sometimes i get stuck-ed in the mud :-/
horsehugger1: no, that’s past allowance…extra 😀
rahrah 24seven: eeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww
horsehugger1: i’m special 😀
horsehugger1: and i got a raise, so now i get $20 😀
horsehugger1: but for three hours, that’s not that extensive :-
horsehugger1: and it really does take all of 3 hours…i’ve tried going really fast and going in different traffic patterns, but it still takes 3 hours
rahrah 24seven: thats 6.66/hr… for non-taxable income, i’d say thats pretty good :-
horsehugger1: yeah, but i get lots of grass on me :-
rahrah 24seven: so?
horsehugger1: and then i smell like grass
horsehugger1: and i get all sticky b/c i’m under the sun
horsehugger1: but it’s not too bad
rahrah 24seven: so do people who get paid min wage to do the same exact thing as you, and the government takes away 25% of it from them anyway
rahrah 24seven: so quit your whining
horsehugger1: i’m not whining
horsehugger1: ur just jealous 😛
rahrah 24seven: um, yes actually i am, and i won’t mask it either
horsehugger1: lol
rahrah 24seven: i wish that my parents could afford to give me an allowance so that i didn’t have to work… i wish that i could get paid extra for doing extra chores like mowing the lawn, or shovelling the sidewalk, or weeding the garden, or washing the cars… i *wish* that money grew on trees… i *wish* that people who have money wouldn’t complain about the crap-work they h
*Claps for communism!* Actually, Marx told us that capitalism is a necessary step in the progression toward communism. We’ve already attained it, of course, and so we’re currently working toward socialism — social security, medicare, etc. — which is the next step before the supposed sudden, violent proletariat revolution. The idea being that the “haven’ts” become sick of hand outs . . .

from the “haves” and just kill them and redistribute all their stuff amongst everyone. Another interesting point: the USSR failed at communism because it tried to skip capitalism and socialism. AIP#2: capitalism is necessary so that the “production machine” runs on its own, with no humans needed. (Complicated, but that’s the theory). Anyway . . . once again, the philosopher is coming out.
