Contemplating a change

Of late, I’m finding that OpenDiary is becoming more and more annoying. Half the time I find myself unable to reach the site, and the rest of the time I receive a number of errors in trying to save entries and notes.

The note problem is not limited to myself either. A friend of mine attempted to read a couple of my entries the other day, and the note she intended to leave for me was bugged out by an error message … and this all came after she was rediculously accosted with the gauntlet of advertisements she had to endure to gain entrance to popup hell. More of a hassle than it should be.

I have looked somewhat at Blogger.com, on Breebop’s recommendation. it seems fairly good, but I have yet to make the final decision: do I write enough to warrant moving to another server? I know I can download this diary so I can keep all of my past entries, but I am unsure if I want to start on another blogging server, or if I want to leave my history here, which has existed for 5 (or so) years.
