An interesting start to the year …
But, as Prince once said, “Napoleon was interesting” … doesn’t necessarily mean good or bad.
I started this morning with a touch of annoyance. Seems the latest eBay seller I purchased from has neither patience, common sense, or honesty … in short, I found in my email an “unpaid item reminder”, in which his stated reason for filing the preliminary unpaid item dispute was “item has not been paid for, buyer has not responded”. Fortunately, should this “rocket scientist” try to scam me, I have everything in my favor to dispute the claim on him … my emails to him through the ebay system, my ExpressPost delivery tracking, and my receipt of money order, all of which, if needed, shall be turned over to eBay.
Next it was off to the doctor’s appointment (the doctor I shall dub Dr. J.P.). This, in short, was surprising (and slightly worrisome). Upon telling my doctor of the previous issues with my wrist (which, those who know me know this has been going on since February of 2001 and caused my withdrawl from music school), and how the effects of my Phantom have now travelled into my right arm as well … he prescribed that he wanted me to get X-Rays done … not on my left wrist, but on my neck. From there, he will determine whether or not I need to see a neurologist (which, at least, shows that he too suspects a pinched nerve.) …
The neck x-rays are a tad worrisome to me though … wrestling superstar Adam Copeland (Edge) battled what he thought was a simple arm injury for nearly a year before x-rays showed that the damage was in his neck, and that his arm had gone into atrophy. In short, I’m praying dearly that this isn’t the case for me, and that Dr. J.P. will soon find the source of my wrist problems, and have me on the road to healthy flautist’s recovery.
shall we dance, 2005? I believe we shall. May the year be continually interesting
