love is a highwire act
on back reading an entry of one of my favs he made me think about love and readdressed the question ‘ what would you do if you werent afraid to fail’
ive anwered that question here previously so i wont again, but his entry made me think…
love is a highire act. your partner is out on the rope with you and you both have these little poles to help you balance but sometimes someone from the sidelines throws something at you to see if you catch it drop it or fall. the real highwire acts in the circus have a net. love doesnt. but they seem very much the same to me. lord knows if you fall in the big tent or fall from love either way you stand a chance of breaking your back. but love is so worth it. hell its worth it enough im even willing to do it again after falling off the wire the first time.
i hope he works it out w/ or w/o a net.
Hope is good but remembering the lessons from the last fall and not repeating them is MUCH better. We’ve discussed lessons versus mistakes before. And as I recall, you were irked that G was going to benefit from the lessons B learned with you. Now it’s your turn.
