Car Trouble

My car died last night, in the worst possible place! A bus driver stopped and helped push me off the road and onto the curb, god bless his big bear heart.

I don’t pretend to know the first thing about cars, so I called dad and he arrived not to long afterwards, turns out the alternator is fcuked… which does something to the battery with inturn runs the car – I don’t know, a car should start when you turn the key if it doesn’t then I call someone to make it start. Anywayz we went back to my parent’s place where we switched the batteries around and drove it straight back to theirs, so its sitting there waiting for the mechanic to come now. I didn’t want the damn thing in the first place, but that doesn’t bother me as work pay’s for all its maintenance and upkeep. I just have the added inconvenience of driving the other work car around for a couple of days.

I have made the decision as well to pay the subscription fee for OD. I got sick of the freaking ads. So now I’m paying for it.

My new phone comes in today  complete with blue tooth. I’m stoked, another work expense of course, I like not having to pay vehicle running costs (especially when petrol is at $1.38 a litre!!) or mobile phone bills.

I’m in the market for a new bed. It’s time I replaced the old one, it isn’t as comfortable as it should be, and I think my waking up in the morning feeling a little bit short of fresh is to blame on the bed. Not to mention the non ergonomic chair that I’m currently residing in.

My office renovations are nearly complete. After almost two months the bathroom is complete, now I just have to wait for the new desk (and chair), locks on the cupboards a new paint job and wallah, I’ll be in my element.
