Icky Sickies, don’t breath on me!

Dora and Mayita are sick sick sick – Dora with a stomach/butt bug (as she says) and Mayita with the croup. 

I’m annoyed – they left me a note saying "if you need help today call my parents, they’re both home today and can come by".  *blinks*  Really?  Then why am I here being exposed to the stomach bug?  I DON’T GET SICK DAYS!  If they get me sick right in time for the weekend I’m going to be pissed – I’m doing  a party tomorrow night.

Okay, I know that probably sounds really unreasonable and selfish of me, but let me clarify.  I’ve just been off from this job since Monday.  Used to be that when they didn’t need me for whatever reason I go paid for full days.  Randomly over the summer they decided that I was only going to get half days.  Then, I get to work today and they didn’t leave my check – not that it matters, because I can’t leave the house with the sickies so it’s not like I could get to the bank.

Now, since I’ve been doing Slumber Parties it’s not *as* tragic when they forget to leave me a check (which they do 1-2x/month) but I’ve got a few HUGE parties coming up, so knowing that I was getting paid from both jobs this week I put a very large product order in on Wednesday.  *seethes*  And now I’ve got no (okay, very little) money until I can get to the bank tomorrow,  And I’m pms-y so this really feels like a much bigger deal than it is, thus the rant.

And if I get sick I’m inevitably going to give it to Hurricane and Stormy who will give it to Kerri-a-tune and AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!
