Paintings I’d like to Own
I only have one piece of ‘professional’ art in my home. If I had the funds I would own more; not as investments but just to look at. There are three or four of Thomas Kincaide’s works that I would like to have.
The other day I ran across these two while surfing the web. Now I’m not a political person by ANY stretch of the imagination. I just like the implied message. In fact what I like about these paintings is what I wonder if the artists was attempting to show. The men, all presidents of the past – divided by political party – were either hated or loved according to their politics. However, what I see here is two groups of men who I’m sure to the folks who knew the most intimately, were lovers of life and happiness.
One thing is certain, they were ‘only human’ as I am.
We all make mistakes and do what we think is right at the time.
If we had it all to do over again…….??
