2:20 AM …

It’s 2:20 AM and I can’t sleep. Ordinarily when I can’t sleep it’s because I have a lot on my mind. Tonight is different though. I don’t have a lot on my mind. I have only one thing on my mind these days… the wonderful word around me. My world has changed dramatically in the past few weeks.

“There’s a difference ‘tween livin’ and livin’ well,

Something’s always missing till you share it with someone else…”

 
Tonight I stepped out of my truck and looked up at the sky around me. It was clear, bright and full of stars! I was by myself but I wasn’t alone. On the other end of my phone was the sweetest voice in the world; the same voice that had whispered in my ear earlier in the evening.

The Voice
 
A voice with a smile in every word,
words that settle into my heart
Words that allow me to notice the
World around me for what it is
A place created to be shared
With loved ones …
 
“You can’t have it all … all by yourself”
