I’ve been violated!

That’s right – violated in a very personal way. It was awful.

When I got home from work yesterday, I got the mail and ran through it. Bills, credit card offers, nothing special. After dinner, I sorted them bills fromthe credit card offers and went through the bills. I opened a credit card bill to check the balance. After looking at the balance, I thought, “Oh… little higher than I thought, but oh well.”

Wait a minute. This isn’t Matt’s card, this is my card. I didn’t use my card, did I? No, it should have a $0 balance on it…

9/10 – Footlocker, Riverdale GA – $371.40

9/10 – Eckerd Drugs, Riverdale GA – $323.91

WHAT!!!???

Thats right, someone stold my credit card number! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been very careful about my information and protecting everything…

So now I have to go through my credit report and credit score and all that fun jazz to see if it was just the 1 credit card or if it was my identity.
