there is an engorgement of frozen sleet

raining against my preternatural mind

with a diamond in the raw

and consideration

full-toned raindrops echoing through

a cavity, a blue mass of sound

the rain brings back your flawless face

we killed the rules we made in secret

I never asked your permission to push so hard

the blood on my hands runs down softly

eyes of no distinct colour

no private place, no saving graces

a paralytic stroke of genius

brings back my true desire denied

creating a certain mythos

a single sparkling silence

in bustling white delirium

dulls the ache of time

but only for a moment

there is an engorgement of frozen sleet

raining against my preternatural mind

with a diamond in the raw

and consideration.
