Will you take me?
You walk alone that jagged path many told you not to,
you look around to see anything you can save,
you see me in the corner wretching in pain,
holding my heart from becoming insane.
i look up and see your glorious smile,
your tender touch warmths my skin in an instant,
you see my bandages torn and old,
my bandaids barely holding onto my own.
You choose me from the rest,
you see life inside me,
you tell me the things that can be better,
you denounce my past as just a bad nightmare,
you tell me you’ll be there if ever i’m afraid,
you tell me you’ll be there if ever i’m in despair,
i ask you but one question after you show me the way,
to such a wonderful place,
will you take me?

You seem pretty sexy. Like you could just speak to a girl and sweap her off her feet. Wow. The world needs more poetry.
