Three way smile

I remember those sweet good times,
Walking along the halls of the conquering place,
Feeling like I had a horrible day,
Seamlessly walking and dragging my feet,
Hoping for this day to just pass.
Turning the corner I see it,
That three way smile from those goddesses sitting down,
Beautiful and joyous they sit there calling my name,
I feel this thing inside begin to beat again,
I’m finally home.

The three way smile that used to brighten my days,
Those three great girls who’d always bring a smile to my face,
Their care, their words, their gentle kisses on the cheek to say hello,
Each one of them has helped me through this life,
Each one of them holds a special place in my heart,
They are constantly in my thoughts,
Thinking what crazy new thing they’re doing,
And wishing things could be how they were.

To know that all I needed was to call,
To get cheered up by their wacky stories,
To know I was cared for no matter who I was,
No matter what I did,
To know they stuck by me when I had left,
To know they still cared for me like a friend.

Vianey, whose beauty surpasses any I’ve seen,
Her generous smile and hugs would impale any sadness inside me,
Monica, the ever cheerful one,
Whose voice is like an angels,
Who always knew what to say when I most needed it.
Mireya, or look at her as I would kid,
The one that always had advice,
The one whose life wasn’t as easy as mine,
Yet taught me its not like me to give up.

That three way smile is all but gone,
I no longer see them in my everyday life,
But their memory brightens even the darkest of my days,
Their laughs, their stories, their love.

To that three way smile,
Thank you, for loving me for me.
