freudian slip??

why must he make these slip ups that make me wonder. tonight on the phone we got on the subject of marriage. and in the conversation he said that when and if he got married it would probably be in vegas and he wouldnt even tell his parents. after he said this i responded with yeah i could see myself getting married in vegas as well but i would tell my parents. i am sure they would be hurt if i didnt. i didnt mean anything towards him jsut in general when and if i got married to someone. his next line was “thats not fair. you would have your parents there and i wouldnt have mine. i think we should both just not have our parents with us. i wouldnt wanna be all alone and you with your family” it bugs me. why can he say something so directed at me and feel nothing?? im sitting there talking about some fake guy but in my heart i am envisioning his face in this future and thats hard. i wish it was a faceless guy to look forward to but all i see is his face. ugh. i wonder if this counts as a freudian slip huh?
