Cyanide

I have gained some 10 or 15 pounds since I’ve stopped working.  Could be concidence I suppose, but I think it’s a combination of the decrease in stress and the definite increase in time I spend in my recliner.  I really don’t worry all that much about it at this point, but I do think that if I’m not going to be working I should probably add a little treadmill time to my daily routine just to counter it.

As a testament to my rediscovered sedentary lifestyle, I played through the new Ghostbusters game from beginning to end yesterday.  I had a sort of ironic free rental from my former place of employ, and I was more than happy to use it.  Good game, really, but its length (or lack thereof) makes me glad I didn’t buy it or anything.  I haven’t played one game for that long in some time, and I certainly haven’t played through one to completion in a single evening in longer than that.  I remember a time long, long ago that my friend Michael and I sat up late and played all the way through Chrono Trigger on the good ol’ Super Nintendo.  It helped that he was already familiar with the game.  But of late, an hour or two is usually all I can manage, if that.  Any given RPG can only hold my attention from one save point to the next these days.

I imagine I’ll have less and less to ramble about for a while.  I suppose I could flesh out my entries more with boring details, but I refuse.  I could have gone into greater detail about my vacation, but for some reason I just won’t.  I guess the truth of it is that we just hung out and went to a mall and ate at nice restaurants, and while I enjoyed it all immensely, there’s no reason to believe that anybody would enjoy reading about it.

For now, The Mighty abides.

I haven’t played a video game in ages. I think I’d lose a lot of weight if I lost my job. Of course I get paid to sit.

– It is definitely NOT ham. [You’re right. I’m a vegetarian.] Your assumption of Honey was correct. 😉
