The Ballad of Ressurection Joe and Rosa Whore

I picked up my pre-ordered copy of Resident Evil 5 today.  I have managed to play about 20 minutes of it so far, and I’m already really enjoying it, mostly because it seems to work a lot like numero 4 did.  Only this one’s on PS3, so, you know, is gorgeous. 

Minnie, a friend of ours named Nikki, and I were going to see Watchmen today.  The plan was that Minnie and I would go have a nice dinner for my birthday, then we’d all go to the late show.  Thing was, after we’d already made all these awesome plans, it turned out that there WAS no damn late show!  They stopped after 7:30.  Well hell, I got off at 6, and Minnie got off at 7.  We had to eat first because we were both starving and the restaurant was closing at 9.  That all sucks.  We’ve been trying to go for like two weeks.  In fact, at one point it looked like there was no way we could all go, so Nikki finally said that she’d sit this one out and Minnie and I could go.  That was the original plan tonight, but somehow she didn’t have to work, and she showed up at my work asking if we were still going.  I was like, hell yeah, we’ll have a blast! and she headed off to change and have a quick dinner.  Poor thing sounded so disappointed when I called and told her there was no 9 o’clock show.  So was I, for that matter.  I told them that if worse came to worst, we’d all just wait for the dvd and watch that together.
