Catching up

Off to Adelaide – I’ll go to the Spinners and Weavers meeting today, tomorrow a whole day in the Art Gallery -Impressionists here I come! and Monday a meeting with the superannuation people before meeting FriendAW after her something or other appointment and bringing her home. Looking forward to kicking up my heels. It has been a rugged fortnight.

• Left getting up too late to do the full exercise routine but will do 10 laps of the car every hour and take the stretchy band to use tonight.
• We babysat AW’s Nello for a while yesterday while AW drove herself to Steel City for an appointment. She likes the visiting specialist who goes there, so that is one trip to Adelaide she’ll be able to avoid in future. It’s still an hour over there, but a lot less hassle, except for the timing – they’ve given her a late afternoon appointment in winter, so there is a potential kangaroos on the road issue.
• Sheba went a bit in the legs just then when she went outside – I’m not the best first thing in the morning either, so maybe it was just stiffness. She seems OK now.

–GRATEFUL:

• nice wee trip to Adelaide to lift spirits, especially with the coincidence of timing with the Handspinners and Weavers
• digestive system settling again
• we laughed and laughed at Sheba’s and Nello’s antic re some chewy toys yesterday. A tonic in themselves.
