holy crap!
A friend just informed me that a photo I took last February made APhotoADay.org’s Best of 2004 list!
Just
to explain, APAD is a photoblog/Yahoo group made up of photojournalists
across North America (and the world). Essentially, people just upload
the photos that they like for everyone else to see. Some of the greats
in the industry upload their stuff to this. Well, unbeknownst to me
they compiled a Best of 2004 list and one of my photos is on it!

I later found out it wasn’t a contest, they posted every photo that a member submitted. It was still cool that lots of people saw my image, though.
