Just a second

I have had an incredible week with my mom.  She will remain in the hospital until Saturday in hopes to manage her new blood thinners.  I usually stop in during the day, quickly as to keep the boys as safe from hospital germs as possible and each night I have gone to the hospital between 8 and 10 to be with her.  The first night was the premier of American Idol.  We laughed until we cried.  The second night we enjoyed the second episode of AI and last night she was a bit bummed that our show was not on.

She shares a house with her mother and because I didn’t want her to be alone I have had grandmother with me much of this hospital time.  We have just had bonding all over the place.  Dain is so excited to have Grandma Mc around and even had to sleep with her last night.

Cute story.  Dain had brought in a balloon from the car and when I asked where it was, he didn’t know.  I asked grandmother if she had seen it.  She spelled out her response so Dain would not know she had confiscated it.  Dain said, "Grandma did you say letters?  Don’t say letters, I don’t understand letters"
