These recipes were just passed on to me with much well deserved praise.  I just made these and let’s just say that it is a good thing that I used a de fatted peanut butter with 75% less fat than Jif otherwise I would have just defrauded my workout at Gold’s tonight.  BUT YUM.

And better than taste is the health benefit!  They travel well for the days at the park just pack them from the freezer and by the time you are ready to munch they are ready to be munched.

I will be serving these at our many park outings.  M-a-n-y park outings.  Today I made a homemade pizza to take to the park.  It was a real hit served from my Pampered Chef pizza baking stone.

Just Call me Martha.

Not Martha Raye, Martha Reeves, or Martha Saudet.  (And I had cool links to these Marthas If I just knew how to add a link)

That would be Martha Stewart.  And not as in take the money, close your mouth and serve your time Martha Stewart but as in Make it, bake it and serve it with a smile Miss Martha.

Yes I am back to being home maker and mother extraordinaire.  I suppose what I time I have been awarded by having my position snatched,  my three sons will only benefit from.

Yes, a wee bit bitter.

But there are options out there.  As soon as I get my self esteem back.  I actually had the opportunity to have the very first resume in on a great position: A membership director of a private country club paying obscene amounts of money.  And although it would take 60 hours away from my family initially, it would allow us to follow the path to me working  full time and Tom staying home with the kids. It would have allowed us to relocate to a beautiful mountain setting and would have opened up all sorts of possibilities.  Problem was that I couldn’t even update my resume.  Every line I started to type I didn’t even believe.  By the end of the task, I was so lacking in my normal sell yourself self that I just put it aside and let it pass.  Probably a good thing but I am having a hard time keeping it clear if I am making decisions based  upon limited self esteem or out of best interest.

Steadily working my way back.

I was born and raised in Mobile, AL. I met my husband in 2002 and he lived in GA so I eventually moved here to be closer to him. I briefly lived in Montana in 1998, A local company had a temporary office job open so I thought I would try something new. I migrated back south when the snow came! in addition to our human children we have two dogs (outside) and one cat (inside)
