He got me

 I was missing AJ after lunch. A lunch that he was not very
impressed with. Then when CC went into the bedroom I heard AJ say, “CC
go away, I’m trying to sleep”

Sleep? My son, unsolicited nap?
Too strange so I went to investigate. Huge crocodile tears pouring from
his eyes. And he was on his boat bed covered right up to his chin. He
said, “I’m not having a good day” I knelt down and cradled him in my
arms to ask him why. “I’m not having a good day because I didn’t get
tak-Ah-ria-Ah for lunch and I’m so sad” I kept hugging him and saying,
“You are having a good day because you belong to the coolest family
ever” nothing….so ….”You are having a good day because it is april
fools and you have tricked me all day” nothing….so….
“You’re
happy because your mom thinks you are the most wonderful AJ in the
world” Nothing!!! I kept loving on him and trying to console his
heart/stomach broken soul. I said, “Fine I will just join you so I will
be sad too and I think I will take a nap with you. Right then the phone
rang and because I was snuggled in and Dain was climbing on top of me I
told CC to go answer the phone. AJ jumped up and said, “I will”

“But honey, you need to stay in the bed and just be heart broken and nap let CC go get it.”

And that’s when I was clued in….”Oh mom, I’m not sad,,,,,April Fools” and he ran to the phone.
