catch me if you can..

despite my good intentions, i’ve slacked on writing again and this time i actually have stuff to catch up on! as usual i’ve been working tons, and so far i haven’t had any nervous breakdowns due to lack of sleep so all is good on that front. the big news is that i have a new man in my life – my boyfriend chris! he is a friend of a friend and we play on the same volleyball team so that’s how i started to get to know him. he just graduated from uni and is looking for a job, which means he’s got a lot of spare time on his hands… to spend with me 🙂 (not that i have a lot of it!) i had spent some time in his company a few times at parties and such, but we hadn’t talked. i was quite interested in him so i asked cor to get his number and texted him one night under the guise of needing info about our next v-ball game. we continued talking for hours and that went on for a couple of days until he asked me out. when we hung out for the first time i was really happy with what a gentleman he was – he didn’t make a move on me, we sat on separate couches, talked for long time and he took me home. when he walked me to my door, we had a quick kiss and i thought that was the perfect ending. we texted a lot the next couple of days and then hung out a couple more times. immediately we were really comfortable with each other and we got physical fairly quickly but i have no regrets! i can honestly say i haven’t felt so strongly about someone (or something) in a looong time…. it reminds me of my relationship with kyle in that we got close really quickly and dove right into a relationship. i’m not great at feelings and effectively expressing them sometimes… so i’m probably not doing this whole situation justice. i’m just gonna close by saying that i’m excited about this!
