only got 4 minutes to save the world..

so i just wanted to say that my 6 hour telemarketing shift was way more successful than i had imagined. i raised $400 for the charity i was working on that day, which also means that my hourly wage increased 🙂 yay. i’m excited to get the next cheque! so last night lauren, susan and i went to see "valentines day" together since we’re all single. it was a cute movie.. but we had to sit uber close to the screen b/c we got there too late. oh well, still a fun night. we also did dinner and then killed some time at the wal, which was good b/c i’ve been meaning to go there to pick up a few (cheap!!) things for a while. so check.

today in ontario it is "family day", a relatively new holiday. i’m working a three hour shift for time-and-a-half so it’s ok… and  then there might be pool afterwards. i’m not really sure whether family day trumps pool night. i ‘spose i should probably look nice for telemarketing in case i have to go to the hall right afterwards. so i’ll write a better, more introspective entry later… there’s something i really want to put into writing but i’m having a hard time actually doing it. sometimes i feel like there are so many thoughts going through my head at once that my mind is a just a blur of emotions and sensations and images, but i can’t actually pick out individual ideas. anyways, ttyl

pace!!

There is no equal to family day in Newfoundland, although we do have the St. John’s regatta as a civic holiday in early August when it is nice outside and a hoilday can mean more than hanging out indoors with the kids. LOL.
