Finally, Happiness!

"It all will fall, fall right into place…"

Everything is working out, finally. After months and months of despair, loneliness, and being depressed… Things are looking up.

I have an apartment! It’s mine. It’s OFFICIAL. I will be moving back to Pennsylvania in May.

Sure, things aren’t going to be easy financially, but I will be happy and that’s all that matters.

Last night, well this morning rather, I got a phone call from an unknown number. Usually, if I don’t recognize the number, or it’s blocked, I won’t answer it – especially at 4:50am. But, I did. It was the hospital saying that my mom was in the ER and needed a ride home. Her husband didn’t answer, they even sent a police officer to the door to get him… No answer. So, immediately I got out of bed and drove out to get her. Turns out, she was found laying on the ground outside of a bar. My mom refused all treatment at the hospital, but was very intoxicated. I was St. Patrick’s Day after all… So, that was my excitement for the night.

There’s this one child in the daycare who doesn’t have very well developed speech. Well, the other day during lunch he wanted more peaches, but we wouldn’t give him any until he ate some of his other food. However, instead of doing the right thing and taking one bite of each thing on his plate, he resorted to screaming out loud for more peaches. It went a little something like this:
"I WANT MORE PEACHES!"
"GIVE ME MORE PEACHES!"
"MORE PEACHES, PLEASE!!’
"PEAAACHESSS!!"
That in itself was slightly funny, he was getting so frustrated because we were completely ignoring him.
What makes it hilarious is he can’t say "peaches" correctly. It comes out as "penis."
…Good times. Working in a daycare, you naturally find all the little bits of immature humor. We have to entertain ourselves somehow!

 My mind is, and has been, completely scattered and random since I found out about this apartment. I am beyond thrilled. =D
